Case presentation

Anand, a 34 year old man presented at the clinic with chief complaint of:

- Runny nose and nasal discharge

- Irritated and itchy eyes

- Sore throat

- Sleep disturbance at night and daytime drowsiness so his work suffers

- He takes over-the-counter medication to relieve his symptoms

Case history

He complains that every winter season he develops these symptoms, but in recently he has been suffering from these symptoms anytime of the year. The medication makes him feel drowsy and mouth dry. His medical history is unremarkable, and he is a non-smoker.. He is seeking advice to alleviate his symptoms and improve sleep disturbances so that he improves his work productivity.
